Evaluation

Upon completion of my website I am very happy with the result, a working site with mulitple links including all stated mandates previously posted including forms, a sign up section and a contact us page.

Final website

Coding

After determining the exact layout and design of my site i began writing HTML, placing texts and slice of images next to each other and creating set boundaries so it's easy to distinguish and navigate around the site.
I researched further into placements and location writing within HTML including the placements of divs, I took all of the information I had gained within my lecturers to form a template onto which I added my content.

First mock up

This is my first design mock up to the website, it instigates my first ideas and helps me to develop the direction I must go with the code. With the layout of certain items in certain locations developing the code makes my use of resources much more defined, and helps to visualize its impact.

Research

After taking into consideration the details of design I re-read through all of my information i have collected on scripting and watched a few tutorials, ensuring the path I was going to walk in creating this website would be in the right direction.
The colour of font and background boxes, the placement of the navigation bar, the actual installation of images are all areas I have looked further into.

Details

Below is a list of items I will include on my website taking into account the importance of the context and content actually involved:

-A home page containing highlights and images of current cameras and equipment sold
-A page dedicated to hints and tips section, helping from the amateur to the professionally
-A description page of the company and its history
-A Multiple forms including registration and a log in section

This ensures people can traffic to the website, discover various deals, wet their appetite with snippets of useful information and also become part of a community.

Importance of design.

After taken into account how important the design and visual process of the actual website is, I am going to take apart every little detail and look at concurrent Woking sites to provide a source of inspiration.
Having created several ideas of text and font effects through mock ups on Photoshop, it has led me to greatly respect and appreciate the colour scheme involved.

Experimental

Examples of Eye catching text

Eyecatching

After looking at existing websites which offer camera products and accessories, it is essential the home page be eye-catching and provides enough interest and detail  in order to hook customers for further reading. Images, colourful boxes of text and shadows around text boxes create depth and offer a more interactive feel.

Existing

Above are sample designs of existing camera websites offering products and services.

Client

The company which have requested for the design of their website are called 'shutter' and primarily promote and sell camera products from amateur starter kit's right up to professional lenses.

Established ideas

The client has requested a template in order to promote its presence and service's, there are several requirements that must be implemented. The name of the company is 'Shutter'.
